Northeast to east winds remain gusty through Tuesday across exposed mountain slopes and ridges. The combination of dry vegetation, low humidity values, and strong winds will yield a critical to extremely critical fire weather threat. ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM TUESDAY...

* HUMIDITY...Daytime humidity values in the single digits followed by overnight recoveries from 15 to 30 percent.

* WINDS...Northeast to east winds sustained up to 20 mph with gusts to 40 mph across exposed ridges.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.
