One person arrested in connection to illegal marijuana grow site in Josephine County

JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. – The Josephine County Marijuana Enforcement Team (JMET) is continuing to crack down on illegal marijuana grow sites in the county.

Today, they took down a site on the 1600 block of Cedar Flat Road near Williams, OR.

While executing the warrant, police found more than 1,800 growing marijuana plants and about 100 pounds of processed marijuana. All of it was seized and destroyed.

Police arrested 53-year-old Radoslav Bogdanov, and he’s been charged with four charges:

  • Unlawful Manufacturing of Marijuana
  • Unlawful Possession of Marijuana
  • Unlawful Delivery of Marijuana
  • And the Unlawful Appropriation of Water.

On the property, officials also found several electrical, water and solid waste code violations, which could result in the civil forfeiture of the property.

JMET served the search warrant on October 17 with the assistance of Rogue Area Drug Enforcement (RADE) and Josephine County Code Enforcement.
