SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - Four stores in Shasta County were cited for selling tobacco products to a youth decoy on Tuesday, according to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.
Trail in RV Park, Sugarloaf Resort, Antlers Food & Fuel and Kay Bee Gas & Liquor were cited in a youth decoy operation, deputies said.
Deputies supervised the decoy who was under 21 years old. Deputies also went to nine other tobacco retail businesses. They said they will continue to conduct periodic compliance checks.
