Multicultural Fair Returns After 2 Years of Online

MEDFORD, OR - Bringing the community together through different cultures is the reason behind this event.

“The participation in the fair brings that forward in our community," said Debra. One of the planners for the Multicultural Fair. 

By a warm welcome into diversity and inclusion. 

“It’s very important," said Lee. "I think we want to show the community that we’re together.”

Many organizations came to the fair to represent their culture in the Medford area.

“Showing that you exist here and that your live here and that this place can be called home," said Vance Veach, Founder of Base. "Not only for Black residence but for everyone in this community."

Members of the Southern Oregon Japanese Association showcased their culture as well. 

“Share our culture and tradition to let the community know that we’re here," said Pauline Murff. "And that we’re a support system for the Japanese people in the area.”

And this years theme is unity. One way they are doing that is by bring food and entertainment from cultures around the globe.
