ROGUE RIVER, Ore. – Police are searching for the suspects involved in a burglary and shots fired call from early this morning.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) said at around 5:00 a.m., they were sent to a property between the 13000 and 14000 block of East Evans Creek Road after a burglary and shots fired were reported at a cannabis grow.

JCSO said the suspects used bolt cutters to cut a hole in the side of a shop and started stealing. The owner of the property reportedly fired multiple rounds at the suspects as they were running away from the scene.

When police arrived at the property, they said the suspects were no longer in the area and no one was injured.
