Scattered showers will diminish this evening with some chilly temperatures for higher elevations and the Basin. Some patchy frost is possible east of the Cascades. Warmer weather though in the days ahead with our region staying dry.

we'll hold onto partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. temperatures will be chilly tonight, westside valleys will bottom out in the upper 40s and lower 50s. in the 30s and 40s; patchy frost is possible tomorrow morning in some spots. we'll also see some areas of fog overnight, mainly in our to clear out with sunshine wednesday afternoon with warmer temperatures. highs will climb up near 80 in our westside valleys with highs around 70 in the klamath basin and along the oregon coast. we should be dry across the region. extended: thursday is looking hot once again with highs around 80 in the klamath basin and highs around 90 in our westside valleys. not as hot for friday and saturday, but highs will still be near to bring some big changes to our region for the second-half of the weekend. clouds will fill-in on sunday with winds picking up. temperatures will fall too with highs in the 60s along the coast and most of us in the 70s for inland areas. it looks like we could get a band of widespread rain to move into southern oregon and northern california, traveling from west to east through the day could see some snowflakes mix in for some of our higher elevations on monday thanks.
