city to tell us more about the program. this is what that fire reduction trailer looks like. fire district 3 will drop this trailer off at your house so you can load it up with dead brush and plants. once you're done, they'll take it away for free. fire district 3 started the program this summer. you have to call fire district 3 to use the trailer. they'll come out to your house and suggest how you can make it safer. once you make some improvements, you can give fire district 3 a call back. they'll bring the trailer out to you. and take it away when you're done. it's not something that's going to be overbearing. we're really just going to take our time, talk and impact of wildfire on their home, and also their neighbors, and ultimately, the community. firefighters say that there are other ways to protect your house. this includes making sure that there are no plants zero to five feet away from your house. they tell me you can also replace grass and shrubs with hard scaping. or rocks. home owners should also make sure trees near their home are not dead.
