ch 12's ashley tsao joins us live from medford to explain why they also want to recognize one more group. relay for life also wants to honor caregivers. they support people during hard times. that's why one lap around this baseball field will be dedicated to them. [g6]cancer caregivers-vo survivors will walk the very first lap around this baseball field. and sponsors will walk the third one. fifteen minutes ago i told you about cancer survivor cindy harboldt. cindy's daughter helped care for her. and has been involved with relay for life for years. she says it's important for survivors and caregivers to be recognized. [g7]cancer caregivers-sotvo it's a struggle for us as well to try and be that rock. when you yourself are hurting and worried and trying to take care of them and you at the same time. it's a journey you go on together. there are going to be different fundraisers at the field. these buttons will be two dollars. each one will have a number that'll be put into a drawing. the winner gets to put the proceeds toward their team's donations.
