veterans get back on their feetn spoke with medford police today. she tells us why police had to slow their chase of the suspect last night medford police told me it wasn't safe to chase him last night. he was driving more than 100 miles per hour on i-5. so officers had to back off. nat take two line the medford police department is looking for this man. his name is ronald ryan brown. last night he got away from police. take lt. mike lt. mike budreau last night just after 10 pm one of our officers spotted a rental vehicle on highway 62, crater lake highway, and recognized the driver as mr. brown. lt. mike budreau tells me when officers did a warrant check. they found out brown was wanted. lt. mike budreau they attempted a traffic stop near i-5. that's when brown got onto i-5 heading north towards central point. m-p-d called central point to warn them brown was heading their way. police say when he got on i-5 -- he started driving more than 100 miles per hour. lt. budreau says that put a lot of people in danger. lt. mike budreau if someone was to crash into this vehicle it would be devastating and we know who this suspect is so we backed off. brown got off of i-5 and onto nebula way. it's a dead end road by the air public cause the vehicle is now stopped. the ideal case scenario. except brown jumped one of these fences onto airport property. units and a k9 tried to search for him, but couldn't find him. lt. mike budreau now he has an additional charge on top of all the other charges he's currently facing. we could find him if you know where brown is medford police asks you to give them a call. crime stoppers is also offering a reward for information. stay right here with newswatch 12. when brown is found we will let you know. live in medford leah thompson newswatch 12.
