near cave junction. andryanna says: "this is what the josephine county fairgrounds is calling the free expression area. it doesn't look like much but the director of the fairgrounds tells me they'll be putting up signs so everyone knows where it is tomorrow." director tamra martin says the free expression area isn't new to the fairgrounds. she says anytime thy have an event, they like to have an area for people to express whatever they want to tamra says: "the point of having the free expression families aren't going to be around and they can actually removed themselves from the area." martin doesn't expect the area to be a problem. it hasn't been in the past. tamra says: "this is literally something that as we move forward in today's environment, we wanted to just make sure that we were prepared and everyone would have their opportunity for their fr ee expression." you aren't allowed to bring any graphic pictures, flyers, handouts, or signs. you also can't use any microphones or horns tamra says: "literally just for lack of a better term, a soapbox. if you have something that you want to say, you're welcome to do it. we're not going to prevent anyone from doing that." andryanna says: "if you want to use the free expression area you'll still have to pay the $10 to get into the fair. in grants pass, andryanna sheppard, newswatch 12." tonight
