caitlin harvey "welcome back to newswatch 12 midday. here's a live look at klamath falls." today: any morning clouds will melt away pretty quick west of the cascades. we'll upper 80s and lower 90s in our westside valleys and lower 80s in the klamath basin. winds will become gusty this afternoon and early evening across the region, up to 25 mph. a small craft advisory remains in effect for coastal waters 11 am this morning. winds will pick up out of the clouds will increase along the coast later this evening and tonight with a few showers possible in northern curry county and in the umpqua basin. much of the region will remain dry tonight under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. temperatures will remain fairly mild, only dropping cascades only falling into the upper 40s and lower 50s. extended: with this latest system that'll sweep in wednesday night, expect slightly cooler temperatures in the rogue valley on thursday and friday. on thursday, clouds will be prominent in the morning along the cascades and in westside valleys. we'll see increasing expected to take hold of brookings for thursday into friday. brookings could push 80 on friday. for this weekend, it's look sunny and with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 in the klamath basin. these much warmer and above-average temperatures look to continue into next week. we're keeping things late in the weekend an into next week. i'll keep tracking these conditions, and keep you updated to any changes. thanks, caitlin. in today's health alert... a study says a woman's paying job could have positive long term benefits on her health. researchers have found that having a paying job could in today's health alert... a study says a
