says "watching out for yoahs-llpkg andryanna says: "last year, osf moved some of its outdoor performances here when the air quality was too poor. now it's planning ahead and practicing in both indoor and outdoor theatres." last years devastating fire season and the smoke that came with it, is promoting changes at o-s-f. the staff still remembers how hard it was to make sure a scheduled says: "i'd never seen anything like it before." matthew says: "we'd set up scenery for the potential to have a show. and a show may or may not have gone on and of course it's disheartening." this year o-s-f is being proactive. today, o-s-f held a technical rehearsal for one of it's outdoor plays all's well that ends well at the mountain avenue theatre. every member of the cast and crew is learning how to adjust to this theatre ahead of the smoke--unlike, last year. no ben two line ben says: "we have a place to go, we have a second home." come from 100 miles or more to visit ashland and to stay here in this city. we can guarantee if they buy a ticket they'll see a performance that night." the back-up theatre will be used whether the smoke returns or not.. last year o-s-f had to reschedule 26 shows at the last minute and cancelled a few. while o-s-f says its ready for the this years potential smoke--- ben says: "i would like nothing more than for everything i've done this summer to be obsolete." matthew says: "i hope we've prepared for the worst and we don't have to use it." andryanna says: "since osf already made changes to macbeth and all's well that ends well just in case the smoke does come, the company decided to make matinee performances here available. you can check out the first matinee performance of macbeth on august 1st at 1:30. in ashland, andryanna sheppard, newswatch 12."
