tonight: spotty showers and thunderstorms will continue into this evening. some storms may be fairly strong, we could also see isolated severe thunderstorms in northern klamath and lake counties. expect showers and storms to begin to taper off tonight, giving way to partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. we will likely continue to see light rain showers along the coast. low temperatures tonight will drop into the mid to upper 40s in the rogue valley and northern california with temperatures in the klamath basin dropping into the mid 30s to lower 40s. tomorrow: the active and cooler weather will continue across the region on thursday with more spotty showers and few thunderstorms. overall, showers and storms will be a bit less widespread than today. we don't expect any severe weather though in our area. temperatures will be will below average for this time of the year when it comes to daytime highs. highs thursday will only make it into the lower 60s in the klamath basin, upper 60s to near 70 in our westside valleys and 50s along the coast and up in the mountains. extended: friday will be a dry for our region with temperatures warming up a bit. temperatures will continue to climb into the weekend with highs in the 60s and 70s for inland areas and 60s along the coast. most of us will see a dry weekend. however, we'll have to keep an eye on sunday for the possibility of a few showers and storms up in our higher elevations. although temperatures warm this weekend, we'll likely still be a bit below average for this time of the year. it looks like temperatures will hold pretty steady like this into next week as we approach the 4th of july. we also may see the possibility for some more showers and thunderstorms for parts of our region. we of course will keep you posted. hopefully you can enjoy some of the upcoming weather. thanks.
