matt hoffman" today: mostly cloudy skies across the region this morning. beware of some snowy and slick roads up in the mountains, but we'll see conditions improve quickly as temperatures warm. temperatures on sunday will top out in the upper 60s to low 70s in the rogue valley, upper 50s to mid 60s in northern california and the widespread this afternoon along and east of the cascades and down in northern california. some showers and thunderstorms will impact westside valleys too, especially, the rogue thunderstorms will end through the evening. we'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies overnight with lows in the 50s and 40s across the region. extended: more hit and miss showers and thunderstorms will develop on memorial day, mainly for the afternoon and evening. it definitely won't be a washout though for your outdoor plans. tuesday is looking dry for most areas, apart from the eastside. we'll have a better chance for more showers and thunderstorms for inland areas wednesday and even for thursday. temperatures will be warming up next week with highs back into the 80s for the rogue valley and 70s on the eastside for the second-half of the week. that's a look at what you can expect for the week ahead.= thanks, caitlin.
