a few pop-up showers. the best chance for light rain will be along and east of the cascades, and into extreme eastern siskiyou county, where we sunnier conditions for parts of the curry county coast. highs this afternoon will climb into the upper 60s in our westside valleys, lower 60s along the coast and in the 50s to near 60 degrees for the coast and the mountains. a small craft advisory remains in effect until 5 am friday. winds out of the north may gust up to 35 knots at times, leading to steep, subside. a hazardous seas warning has been issued for coastal waters from 11 am wednesday until 5 am friday for gusty winds and steep, wind-driven seas. tonight: clouds will linger a bit lower 40s for the cascades and klamath basin, upper 40s and lower 50s are expected for areas west of the cascades. extended: warmer and more seasonal temperatures will move in for thursday with highs in the 60s and 70s across of us will remain dry. friday is looking mainly quiet for areas west of the showers and thunderstorms in the basin friday afternoon, and the chance for scattered rain showers and even thunderstorms for all three days of the memorial day weekend. the mornings will be dry, but we'll likely be dealing with on-and-off showers and storms in the tuesday is looking dry with pleasant temperatures. in today's health alert... according to the national cancer
