in springfield. a furious thunderstorm hit this afternoon and the southern oregon and oregon tech teams have told me the practice fields are in terrible shape... they've had like five tornado warnings... and it's worse than florida. that last part is not good at all... you might remember last year's tournament featured over 12 hours of rain delays. the good news is the field that games are being played on is being protected by a tarp, and as of now, the naia does not plan on delaying the start of the tournament in any way. oregon tech is still set to play at 8 am pacific and turning now to chief meteorologist matt hoff our next newscast is coming up tonight at 11 pm.
