Tracking more showers and gusty winds through today. Wind Advisories have been issued for the Shasta Valley in Siskiyou County and for much of the Klamath Basin for wind gusts up to 55 MPH.

weather-stinger and 60s for our region. winds will be blustery in our higher elevations, the eastside and in the shasta valley. a wind advisory has been issued for the shasta valley from 8 am wednesday to 5 pm thursday. south winds could gust as high as 55 mph. rainfall wednesday will add up to 1/10" in the rogue valley with higher amounts towards the coast and coastal mountains and in the mt. shasta area. extended: we'll continue to be impacted by this storm system in southern oregon and northern california on thursday with more on and off rain showers and a chance of thunderstorms, keeping temperatures cool. through thursday, snow levels will stay high with snow only impacting our highest peaks. thursday night into friday, snow levels may drop to nearly 5,500', with only snow impacting places like crater lake. friday will feature a few lingering showers across the region, but overall, we should dry out and see a break. saturday will start off dry with rain returning to our region later in the day. sunday is looking cool and wet with snow up in our higher elevations. most of the passes should be fine and see mainly rain. cool and below-average temperatures will continue through the weekend with highs in the 50s and 60s. the state department has issued a "do not travel" warning
