will remain partly cloudy for much of the night. areas west of the cascades will only drop into the upper 40s while the cascades and basin will bottom out in the low 40s and some areas down into the 30s. extended: we're tracking a slight cool down as we head into this weekend, but we should enjoy quite a bit of sunshine across the area. temperatures will still be a bit above- average, however, with highs in the low to mid 70s both saturday and sunday. we'll stay dry into the start of next week, too. temperatures will drop even further, to average values, to end the month of april. we're tracking our next chance for rain arriving tuesday afternoon and evening with a slight chance of showers in northern california and the klamath basin. friday night is the 3rd annual central point elementary
