[a28]coming up-stinger mari says: "you may remember this room as the old cascase bingo hall but contruction has already started and in just a couple months, this place will be entirely revamped." devin says: "we'll provide after school programs, summer programs, summer camps, preschool and youth athletics." devin price is the director for discovery ed, the organization that's taking over the old cascade building. the building sat empty for a few months. devin says: "once the old cascade bingo building became available we thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to launch our program on a community like white city." what was once one big room will turn into about ten. bryan says: "we'll currently putting all the new walls and different structures to create different learning envirnments inside." and there's a lot for kids to look forward too. devin says: "a maker space that has a 3d printer, screen printing, we have a video prodution lab, a recording studio, we have a gaming lounge' but that's not all... it will have a performing arts center, a preschool, an after school lounge and a cafeteria. the goal is to help students find their passions and make career goals. open houses will start on may 15th until the first day of their summer program, june 17th. bryan says: "come by, take a tour, look at everything that's being offered, talk, ask any questions or stop by the facility." and there's a reason discovery ed choose white city bryan says: "i've just been drawn to the need for a safe place, an organized place for structure, with learning targets and objectives to give the upper rogue a safe place to be as well as an educational place to be." in white city, mari nelson, newswatch 12. the
