"here's a live look at the oregon coast from the port of brookings harbor. tonight: expect clouds to linger tonight along and east of the cascades. we'll see breaks west of the cascades. we will remain mostly dry tonight with more seasonal temperatures on tap. lows will drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s in the klamath basin and cascades, in the upper 30s and lower 40s in the rogue valley and northern california, and into the mid 40s along the coast. a beach hazards statement has been issued for the curry county coast until 5 am tomorrow for the elevated risk of sneaker waves, especially for west and northwest facing beaches. sudden and unusually high beach run-ups are possible resulting in an increased risk of drowning or injury to those in or near the water. use extreme caution on beaches and don't turn your back to the ocean. tomorrow: the next storm into the region through the morning and into the afternoon with snow levels starting around 6,000' before dropping tomorrow night down to 4,000'. most passes will only see minor accumulations with less than the region with highs in the 50s west of the cascades with 30s and 40s for our eastside valleys with higher amounts up in our higher elevatioins. the coast and the coastal mountains will likely see over 1/2". extended: spotty showers will linger on saturday with west of the cascades saturday afternoon. sunday is looking brighter and warmer before another system will bring more rain and snow to start next week. next week is looking unsettled with more rain and hopefully you can enjoy some of the upcoming weather. thanks.
