ual box newswatch 12's andryanna sheppard is live outside one of the businesses that was there this afternoon. she shows us how the fair benefits the seniors in our area. [a33]access senior fair-live stinger more than 80 vendors were at the access senior fair at the medford armory this afternoon. one of them was rogue valley funeral alternatives. --it was the very first booth glenda holway went to. what started out as a brain storm from non-profits is now one of the biggest events for seniors in the rogue valley. the medford armory was full of vendors giving out information about the resources available to seniors like glenda holway in the rogue valley. it was her first time at the senior fair and she wanted to find out about one thing in particular. glenda says: "i learned about planning for my funeral which is important. it was the first booth i stopped at and they were very helpful. butted i don't want to leave expenses for my children." glenda holway was just one of the three thousand people at the medford armory this afternoon. the senior fair has been going on for about 30 years ago now. logan bell helps put the senior fair together every year. logan says: "it's very rewarding but it's also very necessary. it's the fastest demographic in the valley. they are the fastest demographic. all of the baby boomers and coming here. everyone wants to live in the valley and we have a lot of services that are available." although the armory was full of people getting more information about the resources in the area, glenda says the fair was very informative. she plans to come back next year. glenda says: "its wonderful. it's nice to see all the people coming out for it and the booths are wonderful and we get a lot of great information." if you missed the access senior fair this year, don't worry. it is an annual event. you can also go to our website k-d-r-v dot com for a list of the different vendors that were here today. live in medford, andryanna sheppard,
