Rain and snow showers will end overnight into tomorrow morning. Wednesday will still be on the cooler side for this time of the year, but we'll see increasing sunshine and lighter winds.

tonight: showers will begin to taper off tonight as snow levels drop to nearly 1,500'. most areas will dry out overnight, but we could still see a few snow showers in the cascades into the morning hours. we will also see areas of fog develop in our westside valleys. lows tonight will be a bit colder across the region. overnight temperatures will drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s in northern california, in the low 30s in the rogue valley, into the lower 20s in the klamath basin and in the upper 30s and low 40s along the southern oregon coast. tomorrow: a few lingering snow showers in the morning along the cascades. otherwise, milder and brighter weather will develop across the region. it'll be rather sunny in the increase into the afternoon for westside valleys and up california and along the coast. for areas east of the cascades and up into the cascades, highs will be in the 30s and lower 40s. extended: for the rest of this week, we'll see a nice warming trend and a stretch week, and especially, this weekend. the warmest day in the forecast will be next monday where we could see basin. we will closely be tracking the potential for more wet weather for the middle of next week. hopefully you can enjoy some of the upcoming weather. thanks.
