the same? here's a look at some of the weather around the region. by the morning, expect widespread rain and mountain snow across the region. we will likely see accumulating snow over the siskiyou rain and snow will become more spotty. rain and snow showers will start to diminish into tuesday evening, except along the been issued for the cascades and siskiyous from 3 am - 12 pm tuesday and for the higher elevations east of the cascades and for areas above 3,000' in jackson county from 5 am - 12 pm tuesday. during the advisory period, the cascades and siskiyous will pick up 5-10" of snow while the those higher elevations in jackson county and east of the cascades will receive 2-4" of snow. travel could be difficult at times in the advisory areas. a high surf advisory has been issued for the southern oregon coast from 5 am - 11 pm tuesday. during this time, breakers up to 22' are possible with an enhanced risk of sneaker waves. if you find yourself on the beach on tuesday, use caution. extended: a few lingering snow showers along the cascades wednesday morning. snow levels will be down around 1,500' at this point. increasing sunshine and quieter weather throughout the region by later wednesday. for the rest of this week, we'll see a nice warming trend and a stretch of dry weather right through st. patrick's day. highs will be climbing well into the 50s and 60s later this week, and especially, this weekend.
