andryanna says: "medford fire rescue tells me its pretty rare to be able to get four different agencies together for a training. but they all tell me being able to work together is extremely important." nat scanner says: "multi-unit drill at skinner complex at 2177 south pacific highway medford." and soon came medford fire-rescue, followed by fire districts 3 and 5 as well as the jacksonville fire department. nat scanner says: "call and switch all units to attack, repeat." it's an opportunity for the four different departments to train together on their communications and on how they work together. bill says: "our cohesiveness is absolutely paramount we have to get in. everybody has to know what they are doing. we work really well with each other. radio communication has to be really simple yet we all ahve to be on the same page using the same types of words." the crews cut through the metal door and treked through machine-made smoke looking for fire and any potential victims. medford fire rescue says training together is necessary before they step onto athe real scene of a fire. mike says: "so we know each other, we know how we're going to react, how we act, how we talk to each other, especially coming into the upcoming fire season and the summer months as we get busier." once the physical training was all over, everyone came together to go over how it went and what could be improved. andryanna says: "the different fire agencies will be back here tomorrow working together on more training. in medford, andryanna sheppard, newswatch 12." mf the medford fire
