today: we will continue to see snow showers linger for most of the region sunday morning. as we get into the fternoon hours, the shower tomorrow with many folks not breaking out of the looking cold with temperatures not breaking out of the mid 20s or low 30s for most folks. the coast will remain the be aware slick roads are still a very real possibility even on sunday afternoon. drive cautiously if you are heading out at all on sunday. tonight: another system looks to roll into the area as we go into sunday night. this system is with a few wet snow showers before it turns to rainfall in the westside valleys. snow levels will be about 1,000' as we start feeling night, but they will still be fairly chilly. the rogue valley and northern california will see overnight low temperatures in the upper 20s to mid 30s. the klamath basin will see temperatures hanging in the low 40s. a wind advisory has been issued for northeast siskiyou county from 4 am monday - 4 pm tuesday and for the klamath basin for advisory period could gust up to 55 mph. a high wind watch has been issued for the coast from 10 am monday elevations above 5,000' from 10 pm tonight - 4 am wednesday. winds during this watch period could gust as high as 55-65 mph. extended: as this system works into the area on monday, snow levels will looks to impact us on tuesday that could potentially have lower snow levels associated with it. regardless of snow impacts systems. road conditions look to be very hazardous mountain passes in the coming week.
