near 7,000' in the afternoon. as the system moves in, we will start our day with shower activity which will turn to more widespread steady rain later in the day. with today's system, the rain is expected to be very heavy at times and will bring high wind along with it. high temperatures will only climb into the 40s inland and the mid 50s along the coast. a in siskiyou county from 10 am friday until 10 am saturday, and for areas east of the cascades from 4 pm friday until 10 am saturday. south and southeasterly until 1 pm friday. dangerous surf and breakers up to 25' are expected. a flood watch has been issued for curry county, western siskiyou county, and wstern josephine county from 4 pm friday to 4 am sunday. these areas could see 3-6" of rainfall with higher elevations potentially reaching 10". add this amount of rain to also possible in the chetco bar and klondike burn scar areas. tonight: the rain moving its way into the region today will remain with us through tonight. locally heavy rain will remain in place tonight and into your weekend. snow overnight low temperatures will hang in the mid 30s to temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s. extended: the system impacting our region today and into tonight will stall and impact us through our saturday. yet another storm will move in for sunday. snow levels could be a lot with the sunday system. a few stray showers may linger forecast with stormwatch 12 on-air and online. also, be sure to download our stormwatch 12 weather app. this weekend is a party weekend for women whether you are
