spotty showers s s s s impact the coast this evening and tonight. some wet weather could also make it up into westside valleys and 40s & 50s along the coast. tomorrow: some showers could linger in the morning for the coast and southern parts of siskiyou county. otherwise, expect brigher skies and increasing sunshine for the region on your saturday. highs will climb into the 40s for areas east of the cascades. westside valleys will make it into the 50s with some spots pushing 60 in the afternoon. along the coast, highs will be in the 50s. extended: sunshine and mild weather continues for your sunday with dry weather across the region. a beach hazards statement is in sneaker waves and the potential for higher than usual wave run up during this time. if you are heading out to the beach on sunday, stay alert. monday northern california with the first of two storm systems to impact southern oregon and northern california. wet weather won't be as widespread in southern oregon with that first storm. a more potent storm system looks to impact our entire region on thursday with widespread rain and snow, along with gusty winds.
