a look at some of the weather around the region. an air stagnation advisory will continue for southern oregon until noon saturday. little wind and mixing will keep our skies hazy and pollutants near the surface. we will continue to see impacts to air quality. a small craft advisory has been issued for coastal waters until 10 am saturday for northerly winds between 20-30 knots, 35 knot wind gusts, and steep seas up to highs in our westside valleys. temperatures in the basin will climb into the upper 50s. along the coast, breezy winds will help get the brookings are back up into the upper 60s for highs. gradually see air quality improve through the weekend with less smoky and hazy conditions. we'll see somewhat cooler temperatures move in for the klamath southern oregon and northern california next week. we all look to stay dry through at least tuesday. however, we are tracking some potentially active weather ahead of thanksgiving that could impact your travel plan. we do have the chance for showers wednesday and on thanksgiving. snow could very well be a concern in our higher elevations too. confidence on timing and coverage of showers and exact snow levels is low still. we of course will keep you posted as we'll be getting into the big travel days ahead of thanksgiving. with these storm systems will come cooler and more seasonal temperatures.
