u.s all month long we're bring stories about cancer awareness. today - providence medford medical center is helping people figure out if they need a lung cancer are or have been a smoker. emma says, "to qualify for a between the ages of 55 and 77, have no signs of lung dickson has smoked for more than 50 years. "if you get it early things can be saved, if you ignore it until you're too old and time providence has had an awareness event like this one. folks got the chance to speak with the experts like doctor siva marri. he says he notices a lot of smokers in the rogue valley.
