county republicans sionan says, "congressman greg walden just except that his 11th victory here in district 2 at this podium but as you can see as we head into the later hours the room is starting to thin out here at the republican watch party we've had some good wins for public and locally but a big lost state wide for knute buehler." jackson county republicans were banking on abig win locally and statewide today. "republican slate calls for fewer laws, less taxes, and those things are really important." representative greg walden won his 11th term tonight.. but he will lose his chairmanship in the powerful energy and commerce committee.
