"here's a live look at the oregon coast from the port of brookings harbor. tonight: clear skies inland but slightly more mild with lows in the 30s and lower 40s west of the cascades and in the 20s and lower 30s in the basin. we'll continue to deal with the marine layer along the oregon coast with lows in the 40s and 50s. keep an eye to the ocean as we expect elevated surf and an increased chance for sneaker waves throughout the evening along coast. use extreme caution along the beaches. tomorrow: mostly sunny skies and more warm and above average temperatures. highs will in the upper 70s to around 80 in our westside valleys with highs around 70 in the klamath basin. cooler along the coast with an onshore breeze and impacts from the marine layer. we'll see highs and 60s along with some potentially smoky and hazy conditions for parts of the coast. extended: as we head towards the weekend and into next week our nights will slowly get milder. sunny and warm weather for friday and saturday with highs in the 80s in the rogue valley. we could even break some records. the sunny and above average temperatures continue through the weekend. monday stays dry, but then our weather will turn much cooler and more active for the rest of next week. we have a pair of storm systems that could very well bring some much need rain showers to the region tuesday and wednesday. along with the showers will be mostly cloudy skies and much cooler and below average temperatures. fire danger remains moderate for southwest oregon. hopefully you can enjoy some of the upcoming weather. thanks.
