[f3]long weather-wall here's a look at some of the weather around the region. despite a cold start, sunny skies will warm temperatures up for the afternoon. highs around 80 will be likely in the rogue valley with mostly 70s in northern california and middle to upper 60s in the klamath basin. the coast wilililililee a mix o sunshine and clouds with some impacts from the marine layer. highs along the coast will be in the 60s to around 70 in brookings. winds will remain a bit breezy in our higher elevations, especially, through the morning hours. a red flag warning continues until 8 pm tuesday for southern jackson and jospehine counties and western siskiyou county. extended: more chilly nights are expected through midweek, but afternoon highs will continue to get warmer as this week moves forward. we'll see mainly sunny skies inland with periods of clouds from the marine layer at times along the coast. on wednesday, expect higher than normal waves along the coast with an increased chance for sneaker waves. by the end of the week, highs look to and 70s and 80s in northern california. this weekend will stay warm and dry with cooler conditions and increasing clouds next monday. it does appear that next week could get more active for our area. we'll keep you posted. fire danger remains moderate for for newswatch 12's wake and win
