"here's a live look at the oregon coast from the port of brookings harbor. lingering clouds and cooler than average temperatures continue into your sunday. we should see increasing sunshine later in the day. highs will be in the 60s and 70s across the region. as we look ahead to next week, a very warm weather pattern looks to set up for southern oregon and northern california. we'll see widespread 80s and 90s by the middle of the week for high temperatures along with mainly sunny skies. we'll also likely see some gusty winds near the coast and the chetco effect warming up parts of the coast, including the brookings area. this setup could lock in place for a while with above average temperatures right into the start of october. we'll kee you posted of course. fire danger remains high and if any fires do spark, they could spread quickly. hopefully you can enjoy some of the upcoming weather. thanks, caitlin. the oregon department of fish and wildlife believes
