tonight: we'll see some increased passing clouds overnight for much of the region with temperatures not as chilly as some of our previous night have been. we'll see inland lows in the 40s and 30s with lower 50s along the coast. tomorrow: sunshine for the coast on your tuesday with milder temperatures. we'll see mostly sunny conditions for many of our westside valleys with still some passing clouds impacting the cascades and basin. highs will climb into the lower 70s in the basin with upper 70s to near 80 west of the cascades. extended: temperatures will remain warmer, but still below-average for the week ahead. thursday and friday look to be our warmest days with highs in the 80s possible in the rogue valley. we will see overall quiet weather under plenty of sunshine for much of the week. it looks like our next chance of rain could arrive later friday into friday night along the coast, in the cascades, and possibly even in the rogue valley. we'll still monitoring some timing differences among the forecast models, but it is something we will be keeping an eye on for the days ahead. more cooler weather expected behind that system for next weekend as we officially welcome fall on saturday. fire danger remains high and if any fires do spark, they could spread quickly. hopefully you can enjoy some of the upcoming weather. thanks.
