some of the weather around the region. smoke from canadian and local wildfires will fill back into the region monday. an upper level disturbance will bring a chance of isolated thunderstorms in the cascades and basin monday afternoon and evening. highs will climb into the 80s and 90s inland with 60s along the coast. extended: more storm chances are expected tuesday for the cascades, basin and northern california. temperatures remain above- average throug midweek with smoky skies and overall poor to bad air quality. later in the week, we're tracking a cold front that could bring a more substantial cool down by the end of next week, and also help to disperse more smoke. that could, in turn, help bring a break to some of the poor air quality. southern oregon coast until 5 am tuesday. fire danger remains extreme and if any fires do spark, they could spread quickly. an oregon hotel manager will appear in court on a harassment
