that is pushing ive here in the studio.... leah how much money is this costing the festival? is fair to say" the allen elizabthan outdoor venue at the oregon shakesphere festival isn't normally empty during show time. it's been a real challenge we've had this kind of smoke in the pass for many years actually it's been a problem since 2013 but it's been the worst year yet shows are having to move inside to the thomas theatre and the angus bowmer and others to ashland high school. the high school fair only seats about 400 that's supposed to 1200 so we're losing about 2/3 of arc the high school theater only seats about 400 that's supposed to 1200 so we're losing about 2/3 of our capacity by moving over there. to move shows indoors isn't cheap i'm certain it will be well over $1 million in losses by the time this is done and probably much higher since july 20th 18 shows have either been cancelled or moved indoors. ted delong says it's also causing other problems as well. i think the bigger effect is actually not only the overall economic effect on the company which is pretty severe but also just the physical wear and tear that everyone is suffering in terms of their health and the fatigue and it's a lot of extra work for are holding up really really well. we all reach our limit and smoke or no smoke- the shows will go on crazy enough last night's indoor show was cancelled half
