fo thanks for staying with us, i'm brian morton. and i'm ashley hall. firefighters are still trying to figure out what caused that fire, which sent a huge plume of smoke into the air. here's where this fire happened - the home is on berrydale road, between table rock road and highway 99. it's very close to the st. vincent de paul and only a few blocks away from the railroad park. we now go back out to the scene of the fire. newswatch 12's andryanna sheppard joins us live with the very multiple people called 9-1-1 to report this garage fire. crews from both medford fire- rescue and fire district 3 worked together to put it out. fire district 3 tells me roughly 20 firefighters and a training crew helped get this fire out. crews tell me most of the fire was contained to the garage. everyone inside the house got out safely. we spoke to the woman who lives in the house. she tells us she not only had to worry about her family, but her pets as well. 2:07 - 2:17 - i had to get all the dogs from the house, they were all in the backyard, which is where the fire was going, so i had neighbors come an help me. no animals were hurt in this fire. fire district 3 says two more buildings near the garage also caught on fire. the deck attached to the house is also damaged. crews are working to figure out what started the fire. as soon as we learn what did, we'll update you. you can find those updates on live in medford, andryanna sheppard, newswatch 12. turning
