"here's a live look at the oregon coast from the port of brookings harbor. any high clouds out there from today will clear tonight, and temperatures will cool off into the 30s and 40s for much of the area. the coast and westside valleys will likely see lows down to around 50. even warmer weather expected for most of the area tomorrow. highs will be in the 80s to near 90 west of the cascades and pushing 80 to the east of the cascades. some areas could even tie or break record high temperatures tomorrow. the coast will continue to be cooler with a mix of sunshine and clouds. the rest of the viewing area will see sunny skies. an slow moving area of low pressure will start to approach the west coast on thursday. temperatuers will be slightly cooler for much of the area. the cascades and towards the basin could see a few pop-up showers or even thunderstorms late in the day thursday into thursday evening. that low pressure area will bring more widespread impacts friday into the weekend with much cooler temperatures and more chances for showers and even a few thunderstorms. we look to dry out across the area by monday with temperatures back up closer to average by next tuesday. hopefully you can enjoy some of the upcoming weather. thanks.
