Ashley Tsao joined Newswatch 12 in June of 2019.
She grew up in Garland, a suburb outside of Dallas. Ashley graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in journalism and Asian American studies. Hook ‘em Horns!
While at UT, Ashley interned at KDFW in Dallas, KXAN in Austin and CBS This Morning in Washington D.C.
When Ashley’s not at the station, she’s mastering her grandma’s Chinese recipes, online shopping or trying new restaurants. Ashley is always on the lookout for boba tea!
