Jacob Kornhauser is a sports anchor, producer, and reporter for Newswatch 12. He moved from Columbia, Missouri in May 2017 to join the Newswatch 12 team. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
He comes to Newswatch 12 after working in the production department at ESPN and as a sports anchor, reporter, and producer at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri. In both positions, he found himself reporting about people and telling their stories. One of those stories won him a NATAS Mid-America College Emmy Award while at the University of Missouri.
From the Chicago suburbs, Jacob has enjoyed the change in scenery and having beautiful drives and hikes wherever he goes.
