ASHLAND, Ore. — At 10 am every Friday morning, the leaders of the SOU Raiders football team jump into an online video conference call with head coach Charlie Hall.
They discuss things like their biggest challenges of the week and solutions to those problems. Their goal is to make sure their team is ready when football makes its eventual return.
A challenge all of the players are facing is not having access to a proper weight room, but some of them are getting creative in how they're staying in shape.
From squatting spare tires to running football drills with new puppies, the Raiders team aims to be ready when they get to run back out onto the field sometime in the future.
