ASHLAND, Ore.—The No. 10 Southern Oregon women’s basketball team trounced Corban 86-65 Saturday night at Mountain Avenue Gym, and the Raider men followed suit with a 78-66 win of their own.
On senior night, the women were led by senior Remi Mejia’s season-high 31 points and the men by senior Ben DeSaulnier’s team-high 19 points.
The women controlled the game throughout and advance to 23-2 overall and 15-2 in CCC play. It sets up a home date with No. 14 Northwest Christian on Sunday.
The sledding was much tougher for the men, but down a point with less than five minutes to play, the Raiders rattled off 15 unanswered to put the game out of reach.
SOU hosts an unranked Northwest Christian team on Sunday that’s coming off a ten-point loss to Oregon Tech.
