ASHLAND—Despite a pair of losses on Saturday, the Southern Oregon men’s and women’s basketball teams have both secured home playoff games in the first round of the Cascade Collegiate Conference postseason tournament.

The No. 10 Raider women (25-3, 17-3) dropped their second contest of the season to No. 6 Eastern Oregon, 82-68, but had already locked up the second seed in the conference entering the day. They’ll face the seventh-seeded Warner Pacific Knights on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.

The Raider men fell to No. 21 Eastern Oregon 81-77 and were thus tied with the Mountaineers for the fourth seed. SOU, however, won the tiebreaker (record against .500 teams) and will host EOU Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
