SAN FRANCISCO — The Pac-12 becomes the latest college sports conference to officially cancel all spring sports and championships for the 2020 season.
The decision comes after a meeting of conference executives and athletic directors on Saturday.

In addition, the Pac-12 announced that all organized team activities will be suspended until at least March 29. The conference officials will meet then to reevaluate that decision.
The decision comes a day after another "power five" conference, the Big 12, came out with a similar announcement.
On Thursday, the NCAA canceled all winter and spring championships. Spring athletes, however, will be granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA.
