NASHVILLE, Ten--- Medford residents now have a reason to head over to the nearest store and pick up some Titans gear. Former South Medford standout Brady Breeze has made the roster for the Tennessee Titans for the upcoming regular season.
Breeze tweeted "God is good!" in the evening hours on Tuesday indicating the good news. The Titans' website has since been updated to the final 53-man roster. The Titans cut 17 players on Tuesday; the Medford native was not one of them.
This means that the 6'0" safety will open his regular season career when the Titans play the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, September 12. Residents of Oregon will have a chance to see Breeze in person when he plays the Seahawks, in Seattle, on September 19.
Breeze of course was a part of Oregon's trip to the 2020 Rose Bowl. Breeze won the Defensive MVP for the game. The Offensive MVP of that game was Eugene native and Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Herbert went on to be named the 2021 NFL Rookie of the Year.
