KLAMATH FALLS -- Trey Lopez was a man on a mission for Mazama Friday night, scoring the team's first seven points as the Vikings jumped out to an 11-0 lead early. They won a close game, 54-49 and cut down the nets.

Lopez was all over the place, spotting the Vikings with that early lead, which was almost relinquished by Kyle Hadwick and the Henley boys in the second half. They stormed all the way back, but Mazama held them off down the stretch.

Mazama earns one of eight automatic bids into the 4A state tournament with the win. Henley, as the No. 2 team in the conference, will host a play-in game to try and get into the field of 16.
