EUGENE & CORVALLIS, Ore. — It was a rough couple of days for the Ducks and Beavers as key players from both teams have been sidelined due to injuries.
For Oregon, it was senior wide receiver Brenden Schooler. It was announced Monday that Schooler would be out six to eight weeks with an undisclosed foot injury.
"The thing about Brenden [Schooler], he is not only a great player, he is a great leader," Ducks Head Coach Mario Cristobal said. "I feel terrible for him... because he is a tremendous human being."
Schooler is expected to need the full eight weeks to recover.
For Oregon State, they will be without redshirt senior defensive lineman Jeromy Reichner. He went down with a knee injury over the weekend.
The team announced Reichner tore his ACL and will be done for the season. The Temple transfer missed a majority of last year with a foot injury.
