WHITE CITY—The only direction to go is up.
That’s been the motto for Stone Ridge Golf Club under a new ownership group.
Some improvements to the course—like a new fleet of golf carts and addressing the irrigation system—have already been introduced.
Others—like new cart paths and flipping the front nine and back nine—will take place later this summer.
It has those such as head professional and general manager Vince Domenzain hopeful the course can become a preferred destination for golfers in the Rogue Valley.
“Not everything is done but we're really excited the direction everything's going," he said.
In NewsWatch 12’s Golf Tip of the Week, Domenzain navigates the par-4 16th hole, showing how to properly assess the risk-reward with a water hazard on the right and out-of-bounds on the left.
