WEED, Ca.--After a run of courses on the shorter end of the spectrum, NewsWatch 12 has reached some of the longer beasts.

When it opened in 1973, Lake Shastina Golf Resort was one of the only 7,000-yard courses in its area.

While there have since been other similarly long ones built, the course still has a few calling cards.

Clubhouse professional Will Stromberg takes us through them, and offers advice for playing the Par-4 sixth hole.
