KLAMATH FALLS—Known for an abundance of water hazards, Harbor Links Golf Course combines those hazards with out of bounds and swirling winds to make the par-4 13th the most challenging hole it has to offer.
In NewsWatch 12’s Golf Tip of the Week, head professional Jason Dobey advises going iron off the tee, followed by iron to the green to minimize the chances of a blow-up score.
"You do have the option to hit a driver,” he said. “But you have about a 20-yard wide landing area out there, and you have to carry it 265-270 (yards) in the air to get over that water."
NewsWatch 12’s Jake Garcia manages to escape with a bogey, while Dobey is able to get up and down for par after superb long-iron play.
